Heisenberg Position, University of Bonn

Email: ajamnesh@math.uni-bonn.de

I hold a Heisenberg position at the Mathematical Institute of the University of Bonn, where I am a member of the Analysis and PDE group. I am also an MPI-CBG Fellow at the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics in Dresden, where I am a member of the Math & AI group.

My research interests lie mainly in arithmetic combinatorics, ergodic theory, and harmonic analysis, where I am particularly interested in the subject of higher-order Fourier analysis. I also have a long-standing interest in Boolean-valued logic and Boolean toposes, especially regarding their applications in measure theory and related areas such as functional analysis and ergodic theory.

Our group in Bonn currently includes three PhD students and four Master's students. I am always interested in supervising students at all levels. For details on applying to Bonn's mathematics graduate program, see this page.
