I hold a Heisenberg position at the Faculty of Mathematics of TU Dresden, where I am a member of the Institute of Mathematical Stochastics. I am also an MPI-CBG Fellow at the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics in Dresden, where I am a member of the Math & AI group.

My research interests lie mainly in arithmetic combinatorics, ergodic theory, and harmonic analysis, where I am particularly interested in the subject of higher-order Fourier analysis. I also have a long-standing interest in Boolean-valued logic and Boolean toposes, especially regarding their applications in measure theory and related areas such as functional analysis and ergodic theory.

Jop Briët, Luka Milićević, Christoph Thiele, and I organized the summer school “Higher-order Fourier analysis and related topics”, held October 5–9, 2026, in Kopp.
